Fox Mowing & Gardening is new on the scene in Australia having launched in early 2013, however, we have been involved in the lawn mowing & gardening business in Australia since 1989, and we hope we have brought this experience to Fox.

Over the last four years Fox Mowing & Gardening has grown from 1 franchise owner in Adelaide, to 70+ spread across 5 States and 1 Territory, and during 2016 we sent out on average over 1800 leads per month for work to our Franchise owners.

Our Experience:

We began our career in the mowing & gardening business by purchasing a Jim’s Mowing franchise in 1989 before purchasing the Regional Franchise for South Australia in 1990 and becoming the first ever Regional Franchisor within the Jim’s Group.
Over the next 15 years, we sold over 500 franchises before selling the business in 2005.
From 2007 thru to early 2012 Fox Mowing & Gardening’s Founder consulted to Jim’s Group in various roles, including being Divisional Franchisor for Jim’s Mowing & various National training roles.

We also have a New Zealand connection. Our founder, Phil Maunder, was born in Dunedin and continues to have family ties in New Zealand. Phil also helped with the initial setup of Jim’s Mowing in Auckland in the mid-nineties and has consulted to and presented at many Jim’s New Zealand conferences.

The Opportunity

Fox Mowing & Gardening is a Master Franchisor, Sub ( State / Regional) Franchisor model. Currently, we have three Regional Franchisors, one who looks after SA and WA, one who looks after Victoria and the ACT, and one that looks after NSW and QLD.

It has always been the plan of Fox Mowing & Gardening that once we were up and running in Australia we would look at establishing ourselves in NZ.

The opportunity is to become the Regional Franchisor for NZ. This would involve being a franchise owner and running a Fox Mowing & Gardening business plus the rights to sell Fox franchises within the New Zealand.

Since we have not yet established in NZ, this is a ground floor opportunity and we expect to have around 35 franchise owners in NZ within 5 – 10 years.

Investment:

Initial Purchase:
The purchase price for Fox Mowing & Gardening (NZ) is NZ$50,000.
This includes the rights to sell Fox franchises within the State and also allows you the opportunity to run your own Fox franchise.

We expect Franchisors to run their own franchise business, however, the hours spent running this business will slowly decrease as the numbers of franchises increase.

The purchase price is payable as follows:

$20,000 upon commencement.

$5,000 upon the sale of the first 6 new franchises.
